Abstract
Article about the outstanding Russian sculptor Stepan Nefedov-Erzia (1876-1959), whose remarkable creative life has been closely linked with South America. His contribution to the artistic culture of Argentina the first half of the twentieth century is undoubted, his creative work has become one of the brightest pages in the life of the Slavic diaspora in South America, exerting influence on the contemporary Argentine artists. The author of the publication is based on her own many years of research work of the sculptor, including also the practical material of the International Fund by S.Erzia in Argentina over the past three years.
