- Abstract
- The article is a reflection on those problems, which were given to the scientific community by a team of authors published in 2010, the two-volume research "Avant-garde in the culture of the XX century (1900-1930).): The The-ory. The History. Poetics". Y.G.Shemyakin fully shares informed in the book of understanding of the avant-garde, not only as a phenomenon of art, but also as a global cultural-historical complex, which also includes the proper ideology and a set of certain way oriented social and political practices, and also supports the thesis on the unity of the system of the avant-garde. At the same time, it proposes their own concept of the avant-garde type of system, using the heuristic potential of the concept of the "borderline" civilizations.
