- Abstract
- There is represented the personal point of view at the function of a myth either in the history of mankind or in the history of Latin America. As a research model, the most mythological writer of Latin America – Colombian G.Garsia Markes - was chosen. The author of the article comes to the polemic conclusion that a myth is immanent to human consciousness in general and the culture of Latin America isn’t an exception. The stereotyped view about its any peculiar mythology is the myth itself.
