- Abstract
- In the reviewed monography four stages of modernization in the history of economic development of Argentina more than for hundred years are analyzed. Strongly pronounced cyclic character of the process of progressive advance is underlined. The reasons of alternation of the waves of modernization and the periods of stagnation are analyzed. The special attention is given to the analysis of modernization project, which author defines as «neo-developmentalist». The author estimate the conditions of «organic modernization», which can shift country development in steadier channel.
