- Abstract
- The article deals with the problems of Latin American countries' economic evolution in the past two years. In spite of the beginning of the new period of economic growth the situation can become very unfavorable in the near future because these countries are terrifically dependent on the state of the world market. The comparative analysis of the economic situation and vital problems in the greatest Latin American countries in the latest years, made by the author, demonstrates that it is necessary to abandon the present day neoliberal economic model and to choose another one, more adequate to demands and possibilities of the region.
