Latin American countries have entered a period of severe trials and difficult choices. Acute economic and socio-political problems once again became a central theme in discussions about the future of Latin America. The purpose of the article is to identify the main features and sources of instability, undermining the socio-economic sustainability, identify key challenges facing the region, outline the parameters of the emerging model of stable inclusive growth, and suggest more effective ways to integrate Latin American States into the global economy.
