Abstract

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Uruguay tells about main orientations and top priority tasks of actual national foreign policy. Basing on democracy principles, the Administration has elaborated the five major orientations of the work, i.e.: integration, democracy protection, foreign trade, reform of the State, cooperation with compatriots residing abroad. Within the context of each above orientation, the Government takes concrete steps in order to implement the assigned tasks.
