- Abstract
- In March 2009, Spain and Russia for the first time announced a strategic character of relations. However, this form of interaction can be formed only when the partners have a certain level of trust and there are no fundamental differences o key issues. This article analyzes the role of Russia in Spain's foreign policy and examines the relationship of the two countries on the most burning international problems. Recently there was a lot of events, where adjoined their interests. Two countries have shown unanimity of views on many issues, as well as the ability and desire to neutralize the contentious potential that arises from time to time.
