- Abstract
- In January 2010 the Chilean left coalition Concert of Parties for Democracy lost the second round of the presidential elections. For the first time over the last 20 years after the fall of the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet the right forces came to power. The elections were won by Sebastian Pinera, candidate of the conservative Coalition for Change. A significant role in the elections was played by an independent candidate Marco Enriquez-Ominami. He got the third place in the first round and, as many believe, contributed to the defeat of the left coalition. We offer to the readers an interview with this politic who intends to keep struggling for the presidency.
