- Abstract
- The article deals with contemporary problems of Itamaraty - Brazil\'s foreign service. The basic reform in the ministry changed its structure due to new foreign policy guidelines of Brazil. The special attention is paid to contemporary problems of the Brazilian diplomatic service, the most complex and extensive in Latin America.Key words: Itamaraty, reform, foreign policy interests, Institution of Rio Branco, departments, Inter-Ministerial Committee.
