- Abstract
- Latin America is a region where the neoliberal globalization met serious resistance, first of all in the countries of the so called «Socialism of the XXI century». Bolivia among the region's left countries outstands by the fact that under the President Evo Morales, except for the socialist orientation, announced it's return to the Indigenous communitarian traditions, what caused doubts of the critics about the viability of this model, that supposedly doesn't take into account the reality of the modern world. However, the Bolivian socialism seems to be quite an effective alternative to the neoliberalism. The Minister of Economy and Public Finance of the Plurinational State of Bolivia Luis Arce Catacora, in an exclusive interview to our magazine, gives us his arguments in favour of this model.
