- Abstract
- This year Russia will join the World Trade Organization after the ratification of its accession package. The paper examines the possible impact of this process on Russian-Latin American economic relations. The analysis of commitments undertaken by Russia as a WTO member from the perspective of tariff policy allows evaluating prospects of trade in agricultural and non-agricultural goods between countries. Russias accession to the WTO could strengthen its relations with Latin America and give opportunities for their development.
