- Abstract
- The Comintern, having refused to support the armed expedition of the Venezuelan Revolutionary party (PRV) against J.V.Gomez's dictatorship, raised the question about elimination of the party and creation instead of Communist party. Activists of PRV made an attempt of disembarkation from the island of Curacao to the mainland, but that didn't crown success. The article deals with relationship between the Comintern and the Venezuelan revolutionary emigration in 1929-1930, various approaches to formation of Communist party in Venezuela are analyzed.
