Abstract

This is the review of two books published at 100th anniversary of the leader «Young Cuba» Antonio Guiteras in Mexico and Cuba. These works are written in different genres, but both of them are not ordinary biographies of the unique person. The two books allow to understand better the character of bright and contradictory events of the Cuban revolution of 1933, to realize the stages of the development of the Cuban revolutionary ideology and the rebel consciousness of the Cubans which made possible Fidel Castro's victory in 1959.
