Abstract

The authorities of St. Petersburg actively cooperate with the countries of Latin America in trade and economic, cultural and scientific spheres. Work on formation of positive image of the Northern capital and Russia as a whole is conducted. However much still needs to be made - to build "bridges" from Russia to Latin America. Active work in this direction is conducted by Committee on External Relations together with Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the St. Petersburg State University.
