- Abstract
- The article provides a comprehensive analysis of a phenomenon of China’s expanding economic and diplomatic presence in Latin America over the past 10 years. Chinese trade, investment and economic assistance in the region, political and military ties between China and Latin American states are under close scrutiny. Rapid growth of the China’s influence in the region, especially in trade and economic spheres, but not limited to it, are accentuated in the article.
