Abstract
This article elucidates some particular qualities of religious topic represented in poetry by Vladimir Mayakovsky. The research was based on religious vocabulary, liturgical quotes and biblical allusions which one can find in V. Mayakovsky’s texts. Collected materials shows the importance of such elements for realization of author’s worldview.
