- The article considers the role and place of a national of the state in the period of formation of global information society. Special attention is paid to the relationship of the national States, civil society and transnational structures, and analysis of opportunities for the last assume the functions of a national state in the modern world, touching upon issues of changes in the system of state management in the new historical conditions.
